These terms govern your use of dplens.com. They do not govern the supply of the DPLens software itself — that is covered by the licence agreement signed between DPLens Ltd and the customer, which takes precedence over anything on this page. See What these terms cover.

What these terms cover

Using this site

You may read, print and share pages of this site for your own reference or to evaluate DPLens within your organisation. That includes circulating a page to colleagues, quoting it in an internal assessment, or saving a copy for a procurement record.

You may not copy the site's design, text or images into another product or publication, present its content as your own, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any system behind it, or run automated tools against it in a way that degrades service for anyone else.

Accuracy of information

We keep the product descriptions here current, but they are a summary rather than a specification, and the product changes. Nothing on this site forms part of a contract or a warranty, and nothing here should be treated as technical or security advice for your environment. Where a page conflicts with your signed licence agreement or with official technical documentation, that document governs.

The savings calculator

The calculator on the home page is an illustration. It multiplies the figures you enter — it does not model your environment, your licence terms or your retention policy, and its output is not a quotation, an estimate or a commitment. Reduction achieved in practice depends entirely on your data and the rules you configure.

Intellectual property

The DPLens name, logo, site design and site content belong to DPLens Ltd or are used under licence. Other product and company names on this site are the trade marks of their respective owners, referred to only to describe interoperability; their use implies no endorsement, affiliation or partnership.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a site we do not run, the link is for convenience. We have no control over that site's content, availability or handling of your data, and a link is not an endorsement. Their terms and privacy policy apply once you leave ours.

Liability

This site is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or current at any given moment. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the information published here, and for any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
